American culture at-large has been in the throes of The Meaning Crisis for several years now, and it has partially driven an acute problem within military culture: a major recruiting crisis.

The DoD has requested the veteran community's help, but we are bitter, angry, and disenfranchised.

We have spent far too much time, energy, and emotional capital investing in a bloated bureaucracy. We don't just want help transitioning to civilian life, we have come to expect them to just give us everything we think we want during that transition.

I believe in the power of the individual veteran to do three things:

1️⃣ Choose our own professional future regardless of our previous military profession.

2️⃣ Translate our own story to successfully make that transition.

3️⃣ Connect with our community to build meaningful relationships that will sustain that transition.

We will dive deeper into each of these over the rest of this week with practical skills and applications.

Terminal leave is too late.

Do the work that's right in front of you, and see what happens.
